During Sheldon’s thirty years (and counting) consulting career, he has sought to inspire and guide leaders, groups and organizations to function at the higher range of human nature, using “whole person” methodologies, processes and tools in the work of everyday business. This has resulted in sustained group and organizational high performance and personal excellence.
His recent focus has been helping leaders build full potential, principle and values-driven organization cultures. Using the powerful Culture Transformation Tools (CTT) developed by Richard Barrett & Associates, values can now be mapped, measured, tracked and systematically implemented to produce results at every level in the organization. Sheldon’s vision for institutions is that they become vehicles for enlightened leadership to create supportive and appreciative learning communities – communities of conscience and constructive action - for the expression of human creativity and service in the delivery of needed, life-enhancing products and services for the well being of people at every level of the economic spectrum.
Educated in Religion and Philosophy at Princeton University, and Management and Organization Behavior at NYU Stern School of Business, Sheldon’s unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom continues to this day. He has explored diverse worlds of thought in the areas of: Business, Leadership, High Performance, Personal, Organization and Global Transformation, and Spirituality and the Ageless Wisdom. He enthusiastically shares his thoughts, resulting in a sometimes inspiring and often intriguing combination of insights, practical suggestions and wise counsel in his client consulting work and senior leadership coaching practice. Clients engage Sheldon Hughes, as co-founder of Capricorn Consulting Group, for his seasoned experience in working with numerous clients in multiple industries, on a variety of issues and organizational needs. Sheldon lives and works with his wife, Halina, in Belvedere, CA. where they enjoy the beauty of Marin County, and he thrives on the stimulation of client work in New York City and other great cities of the world.

Meaningful contributions to self, work, community and resonant global well-being are made possible within conscious cultures that promote and generate whole-person well-being.
Halina has worked as an inspirer and transformer of people and organizations for nearly twenty years. Following her training in Holodynamics, Transpersonal Psychology, and the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, she developed a consulting and coaching practice designed to recognize and unfold the Full-Potential-Self of individuals, the cooperative spirit of groups and the collective Soul of an organization. By working joyfully through personal, group and organizational issues, establishing a “hierarchy of values”, cooperating with “the better angels of human nature” and progressively higher levels of individual self-mastery, Halina facilitates healthy human and group relations to naturally unfold, with organizational achievement progressing apace.
With her husband, Sheldon Hughes, they utilize Culture Transformation Tools (CTT) developed by Richard Barrett & Associates to encourage the growth of full spectrum leaders and values-driven organization cultures. The effects are nothing short of meta-generative on every level.
As an experienced organic gardener, Halina expresses that talent and joy in her garden home community (north of the Golden Gate Bridge), drawing on gardening, nature and new science metaphors in her consulting and coaching work with clients. She enjoys visiting the trails and magical lands of Marin County, spending time in the cathedral forests of Muir Woods, and taking photographs of all things interesting and beautiful.
On a personal note, Halina enjoys reading, learning and teaching specialized subjects meta-human and meta-physical; creating sacred spaces wherever she lives and visits; nurturing and deepening long standing (and new) friendships and partnerships; cooking healthy organic gourmet meals; listening to (and sometimes playing) music that inspires, lifts and moves a person into heightened awareness and the deep spaces of the Infinite (Baroque, Celtic, select classical, Simon and Garfunkel era, acoustic guitar and harp, early Narada/new age/select synthesizer, the Renaissance); and finally—but far from least—“walking into” co-created worlds of universes without end that unfold from deep conversation and dialogue with Sheldon—husband, business and spiritual partner.
